Biofactorial
Biofactorial automation equipment enables high-throughput screening of metagenomic and compound libraries, chip-based droplet and cell sorting, CRISPR-Cas9 toolkit development and assay development.
-
BioBank
Located in the Life Sciences Center at UBC, the BioBank offers a range of storage, lab, and consulting services to researchers seeking to streamline sample management and analysis in their projects and lab spaces.
-
MCELLS
The MCELLS Research Cluster at UBC uses synthetic biology, multiomics, and other cutting edge methods to enhance and transform mixed cellular communities into targeted functional factories that can be tuned to specific applications in industries such as construction, aquaculture, and mine remediation.
-
EDUCE
Experiential Data Science for Undergraduate Cross-disciplinary Education (EDUCE) is a Large-scale Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF) initiative developing a modular and extensible active learning framework in Microbiology and Immunology courses.
